گرا دیا ہے تو ساحل پہ انتظار نہ کر
اگر وہ ڈوب گیا ہے تو دور نکلے گا
اسی کا شہر وہی مدعی وہی منصف
ہمیں یقیں تھا ہمارا قصور نکلے گا
یقیں نہ آئے تو اک بات پوچھ کر دیکھو
جو ہنس رہا ہے وہ زخموں سے چور نکلے گا
اس آستین سے اشکوں کو پوچھنے والے
اس آستین سے خنجر ضرور نکلے گا
