I just completed my O'levels with science subjects and now i'll be switching to arts subjects(accounts,eco and business studies) in my A'levels so that i can opt for ACCA.I just wanted to know that is it recommended or should i take another path?can one do CA right after their A'levels?which is more beneficial in Pakistan CA or ACCA?how long does it normally take to do each?and which are the best institutes in Pakistan for such studies?

My son is now in O-Level and will appear for three subject this June 2010, i.e Urdu, Pakistan Studies and Bile studies. His other subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Computer Science. Which he will appear next year in June 2011. What I would like to know is after his O-level he should do his A-level or go to college and in which subjects should he master what is market for and where are the jobs. I was able to secure 70% marks in I.Com and now I am trying to get admission in a good university. unfortunately Hailey or IBA were'nt generous enough to let me in. Can anyone specify some significant universities and what about University of education on lower mall is it any better. I was advised to do BBA marketing and finance from there. Does that ring any bell? what can possibly be it's scope? what benefits will i be able to accumulate? are there any unfamiliar options you can recommend?
