Realities

Poet: Mubina By: Mubina, Lahore

To have hope means to breath
To avoid hurt demands stealth
To dream big means eyeing pain
To turn wise demands spiritual gains

The realities of life are solid truths
They make the sane avoid loathe
The realities of life are kept steady
Their absence turns seldom ready

To be spiritual means success
To avoid fears demands progress
To dream huge means strength
To turn subtle demands a breath

The realities of life can crush stones
Their weight tend to carry the forlorn
The realities of life have strong grips
Their sparks are rarely considered dim

To have strength means patience
To avoid failure demands dedication
To dream steadily means hope
To turn brave demands pacing

The realities of life are visible treats
They make many turn from defeat
The realities of life are fine rays
Their knowledge helps the stray
