1.Beat together sugar and eggs till creamy.
2.Mix in yogurt and oil.
3.Gradually add rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
4.Grease a cake pan with some oil and pour the cake batter in it.
5.Bake for 20 - 30 min at 190 C. (check after 20 minutes if the cake is ready)
2For Sugar Syrup:
1.Cook together sugar, lemon juice and water til done.
2.Pour the sugar syrup on cake and let it absorb.
3.Garnish with cherries or nuts, cut in squares and enjoy.
