Israeli military ramps up attacks in Rafah city amid crippling humanitarian aid operations
Israeli military has ramped up its attacks in Rafah city amid crippling humanitarian aid operations after ceasefire talks in Cairo ended without a deal.

In a statement, United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees said Israeli troops are advancing in the east of the city.

Meanwhile, in an interview, US President Joe Biden has warned that he would stop some weapons supplies to Israel if it continues ground assault.

On the other hand, the UN General Assembly is set to vote on a resolution today to grant new rights and privileges to Palestine and call on the Security Council to favourably reconsider Palestine’s request for full membership.

Meanwhile, certain number of European Union member countries have planned to recognize a Palestinian state on 21st of this month.

This was stated by European Union's Foreign Policy chief, Josep Borrell, ahead of an expected UN vote today on a Palestinian bid to become a full member.
