‘Talented students’ to get free education for grade 7-12 students
The decision was made during the fourth meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

Moreover, in a move aimed at modernizing vehicle registration systems, the cabinet also gave the green light for the transition from manual registration boxes to automatic motor vehicle registration smart cards.

Several other key decisions were also taken during the meeting. The cabinet approved the purchase of 600,00 metric tons of wheat and fixed the price of 40kg wheat at Rs3,900, addressing concerns related to food security and ensuring stable wheat supplies in the province.

The restoration of the 17MW Ranolia Hydropower Project in Lower Kohistan and the acquisition of 327 kanals for the 88MW Gabral-Kalam Hydropower Project in Swat were also given the go-ahead.

Additionally, the utilization of funds from the erstwhile FATA Development Authority under the AIP in the merged districts was approved.

Furthermore, the cabinet sanctioned the acquisition of over 34 kanals of land for the construction of a judicial complex in Panah Kot, Upper Dir, enhancing access to justice and judicial services in the region.
