Wash 2 ½ cups of rice and wash and soak 1 cup gram lentil. Boil the lentil. To make stock take 3 cups of water in the pan along with 1 tsp fennel seeds. 1 tbsp coriander, 1 piece of ginger and 1 garlic. Take some oil in the pan and add in chopped onion. fry it till it is golden brown. Take it out and spread. Now add ½ cup yogurt in the oil along with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste,1 tsp black cumin, green chilies, small cardamom and cook it then add in the prepared stock. When the stock comes to boil, add salt andcover the pan. When the water dries, add in 1 tbsp butter and simmer it. In the end, add in fried onion and serve.
