Kela Bara recipe by Gulzar Hussain. This delightful Ramadan Recipes recipe of Kela Bara can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish.

INGREDIENTS

To prepare baray:
Raw bananas 5-6
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
All spice powder ½ tsp
Rice flour 4 tbsp
Baking soda 1/3 tsp
Oil to fry
Salt to taste
To prepare masala:
Whole red chili 5-6
Black pepper corn 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Black salt ½ tsp
Salt to taste
For Green chutney:
Tamarind paste ½ cup
Mint leaves 1 bunch
Green chilies 5-6
Salt to taste
Red chutney:
Garlic 3-4 cloves
Tomato paste ½ cup
Red chili powder ½ cup
Salt to taste
For garnishing:
Yogurt ½ kg

METHOD

Chaat Masala 1 tsp
Boil 5-6 raw bananas with their skin and them remove the skin and mash them. Add in 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp cumin seeds powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp all spice powder, 4 tbsp rice flour, ½ tsp baking soda and salt. Mix everything. Give them a shape and fry them in oil. Once fried take them out and keep them aside.
To prepare masala:
Take 5-6 whole red chilies, 1 tsp black pepper corn, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, ½ tsp black salt and salt. Mix and grind everything together.
For Green chutney:
Grind ½ cup tamarind paste, 1 bunch mint leaves, 5-6 green chilies and salt together. Green chutney is ready.
 For red chutney:
Blend 3-4 garlic cloves, ½ cup tomato paste, 1 tsp red chili powder and salt together in the blender and red chutney is ready to serve.
Take a deep pan, add in ½ kg yogurt and some water. Beat it nicely then add in baray. Spread the remaining yogurt over it. now pread out red chutney and green chutney. Sprinkle the masala prepared and chaat masala. Kela bara is ready to serve.
