نصاب عشق پہ واجب زکوٰۃ ہیں ہم لوگ
دباؤ میں بھی جماعت کبھی نہیں بدلی
شروع دن سے محبت کے ساتھ ہیں ہم لوگ
جو سیکھنی ہو زبان سکوت بسم اللہ
خموشیوں کی مکمل لغات ہیں ہم لوگ
کہانیوں کے وہ کردار جو لکھے نہ گئے
خبر سے حذف شدہ واقعات ہیں ہم لوگ
یہ انتظار ہمیں دیکھ کر بنایا گیا
ظہور ہجر سے پہلے کی بات ہیں ہم لوگ
کسی کو راستہ دے دیں کسی کو پانی نہ دیں
کہیں پہ نیل کہیں پر فرات ہیں ہم لوگ
ہمیں جلا کے کوئی شب گزار سکتا ہے
