Surah Hud Benefits

The surah was named Surah Hud as verses 50 to 60 narrate the story of the Prophet Hud (Blessings Of Allah Be Upon Him) and Qaum e Aad. These verses are quoted as a source of Surah Hud ki fazilat. There are different Surah Hud benefits.

Surah Hud Benefits

Surah Hud has 123 Ayahs and 10 Rukus. It is the 11th Surah as per the Tarteeb e Tilawat and the 52nd Surah as per the Tarteeb e Nuzool. Surah Hud ki fazilat is that it covers different topics such as monotheism, Prophet hood, resurrection after death, and the reward of deeds on the Judgment Day. Surah Hud Benefits

Different hadiths are present about Surah Hud ki fazilat. In Jami At Tirmidhi Hadith No 3297, Abu Ishaq narrated from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas who said:“Abu Bakr [may Allah be pleased with him] said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! You have become gray.’ He said: ‘I have gone gray from (Surat) Hud, Al-Waqi`ah, Al-Mursalat and `Amma Yatasa'alun and Idhash-Shamsu Kuwwirat.’”

The Sunan Ibn Majah Hadith No 3891 also gives us knowledge about Surah Hud benefits. It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:“If the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) saw a cloud that looked as if it was bringing rain, the color of his face would change, and he would go in and out and walk to and fro. Then, if it rained, he would feel relieved.” ‘Aishah mentioned to him what she had seen him do, and he said: “How do you know? Perhaps it would be as the people of Hud said: ‘Then, when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: “This is a cloud bringing us rain!” Nay, but it is that (torment) which you were asking to be hastened.” [46:24]

Surah Hud Ki Fazilat

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) guides Ummah about the Surah Hud ki fazilat. Hazrat Kaab (Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) narrated that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) instructed to recite Surah Hud on Friday. Another key thing about Surah Hud benefits is that the nature of the believer and the disbeliever is compared in adversity and ease.

According to the Surah Hud ki fazilat, the believer is patient when adversity strikes and is thankful for ease while the disbeliever is arrogant and proud when he receives blessings, he becomes very disappointed and ungrateful in times of trouble. Every human being has a different nature, even in accepting religion.
