England beat Pakistan by 5 wickets to win T20 World Cup

England won the ICC -T-20 World Cup 2022, beating Pakistan by five wickets in final at Melbourne on Sunday.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 137 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted twenty overs.

In reply, England achieved the target in 19 overs for loss of five wickets.

For Pakistan, Shan Masood with 38 and Babar Azam with 32 runs were the main scorers.

For England, Ben Stokes was the main scorer with 52 runs and remained not out.

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi has congratulated England for showing a good all-round performance to win the ICC T20 World cup.

In a tweet on Sunday, he commended the Pakistani team for bowling good despite a low score.
