 Multan Sultans qualify for final after beating Islamabad United

Multan Sultans crushed table-toppers Islamabad United by 31 runs to qualify for the final of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Multan Sultans have handed a 181-run target for Islamabad United.

Akif Javed got the first and important wicket of Mohammad Rizwan in the second over after he made an appeal for caught behind. The Sultans' skipper could not get the bat on it.

Islamabad United was dismissed for 149 in 19 overs to hand Sultans 31-run win in the Qualifier.

The winner of Eliminator 1, which will take place later in the day, will face the United in Eliminator 2.

Mishandling rape culture

Sultans, who made their first appearance in the HBL PSL playoffs last year but were knocked out after losing to Karachi Kings in the Qualifier and to Lahore Qalandars in the Eliminator, made sure they did not make any mistakes this time around.
