I have passed my matriculation from FEDERAL BOARD ISB with the 87%. I intended to do O LEVEL but couldn't do it due to some reasons. I want to go for COMMERCE FIELD. Now I've two options, I.Com or A LEVELS. I want to study in UK or CANADA. CIE exams are taken everywhere in the world. Legally, there's no pre-requisite of A LEVEL. So should I do A LEVEL?

Assalamu alykum
I have passed my Matriculation exam from Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad (FBISE) and got 87%. I want to study in Western countries. I intended to do O LEVEL but could not do it due to some reasons. I want to go to COMMERCE FIELD, now I have two good choices, I.Com or A LEVEL. So what should I opt now in order to get admission in reputed universities? Moreover, I would be leaving for Toronto in a year, but the CIE EXAMINATIONS are taken everywhere in the world.

I'm doing my A levels. My subjects are Physics, Maths, Biology and chemistry. When i began my A levels i had architecture in mind as a career because i felt that was an easy way out. But truth is i want to pursue a career that i'm interested in. I don't want to become a doctor but i'm brilliant in Biology. I was thinking perhaps a career in Biotech or Biochem? I'm also looking for a high income. Also, if i further study Physics, what might be the job opportunities in Pakistan? please help me with a thorough reply.

My daughter is in final phase of 8th class in private English medium school. I understand that her school is only prepare for O level exam-not matric exam. She is weak in urdu as during the last some years she had to go abroad and study there. In 7th and 8th classes she has been taking easy urdu however even in this she has not being doing well. We want her to be doctor in future. we know that if she goes for matric exam she will have to take urdu exam in which she would not be doing better. On the other hand if she goes for O level and A level, first we don't know whether urdu is compulsory there also. Second whether she would be able to get admission in medical college due to complicated equivalency issues.

Please tell me how to calculate the Merit
merit determined by ¼ of total marks obtained in SSC/O Level plus 1/5 of total marks obtained in Intermediate/A level, plus total marks obtained in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com or equivalent, Additional 20 marks for N.C.C./ W.G. Training, plus 20 marks for Hafiz-e-Quran. Plus 20 marks each for the elective subjects of Mathematics, Statistics & Economics (in respect of papers of 200 marks only) studied at Graduation level. (Maximum 40 Marks), (Additional 40 Marks for Commerce Graduates).
One Mark for one year managerial level experience (Max. 5 Marks)
70% wieghtage will be given to Acadmic record and
30% to entry test
so plz calculate the merit for the following Data
Metric marks = 518 out of 850
FA marks = 834 out of 1100
and B.com = 766 out of 1500
entry test marks = 60 out of 100
managirial exp = 2 year(2 marks)
Additional Marks for Commerce Graduates). = 40
