I am doing BCS from COMSATS University,Lahore. I am in the 3rd semester. I am very much interested in the field of web designing and development. I am also a good database designer? I would like to know which is the best among Web Development and Database? Which one should I choose?
Also, is it necessary to do MCS after bachelors? I mean what if I do MBA instead of MCS? Will I still get a good job?

Dear Mujahid,
Good to know that you are graduating from COMSATS because me too got MCS from this institute.
You know database has its own importance and specially Oracle you must request to one of your teacher MR. Tayab sahab he is very great Developer and Administrator. I never ever seen a Oracle Developer in Pakistan like him. and you must continue your field not switch to MBA its my personal opinion.

Dear Mujahid,
AOA. Hope you will be fine and in the best of your health.
First of all its pretty good that you are a computer science graduate and the institution is also too good.. Mujahid, every field has its own charm. E-commerce has become wider and more popular as E-Business but on the other side most e-businesses or physical businesses require databases to be implemented. so its up to you that what you choose. Choose one whom you like more and feel more comfortable. Database Designing and maintenance is a very good and large field and I personally suggest you to adopt the field of databases. Because every firm or business require a database. You can also get certifications from Microsoft or other famous institutions. and I personally suggest that do not choose MBA after your BCS because If you like the field of computer sciences then it is useless to do MBA..rather try to go for MS (Computer science) or M.Phil (CS) or MCS... building your career on a specific way will improve your skills ok... now its upto you what u choose.
