This is me maheera. I am much confused and worried.i want to become software eng...but i missed last test date of submission Ecat .i can afford eng in bzu which i missed plz help me what can i do?wether i can become software eng through BSCS..if we do this program i can got good job or salary or it has scope or not.?or i drop this year..plz rply me hurry...

Dear Maheera
As far as becoming Software Engineer as profession after doing BS(CS) is concerned the answer is absolutely yes.
Major difference is: your BS degree is only HEC recognized and you wont be able to get registered with PEC. Some employer (specially in Government Sector) do seek candidates with both HEC & PEC. Two things are very much important concerning CS/Software Engg. 1-University /Institute selection 2- Technical skills which are more important than anything else. Self learning and programming is what will flourish your career and will help in job getting rather than merely a degree. Better advice regarding university selection can be provided if options are listed.
