Question (Total Replies: 6) Wednesday, April 11 2012 Kamran Shahid (Student) Intermediate / A Level Fsc Karachi I have got 49.27% in FSc(Inter) and i'm confused because Eligibility for programs like BCS (In Computer Science Or In Software Engineering) is minimum 50% in most Universities ... i really wanna do "Software Engineering" because i'm good at programming (Maybe i could be the Best) ... So what to do? can i go for Software engineering or i'm Restricted to BCS ... CAn i do Software engineering after BCS in 'Computer Science' like i've heard after BCS we have choice of MCS in (Software Engineering) and in Which University should I apply?

M.Rafay Farooq (Career Advisor), Karachi Saturday, April 21 2012 Total Posts: 208  Rate this Answer I am doing BCS from FAST, in any university you at least have to score 60% to do software engineering. you have two option i) improve your grades and try to get admission in any good university if you really have passion to be a software engineer. ii) try some private institution who gave diploma degree on completion of at least 1 or 2 year courses. I think you should apply in Virtual University (VU) to fulfill your aim . but remember that you should have to work hard, because VU's Criteria is so tough. Its also offer Exumption for Degree programe.
