| Hitanshu Gaur (Student) Bachelors Degree B.A Programme New Delhi
| Hi friends,
I am Hitanshu. I am unable to decide which stream for MBA is appropriate for me.
I have an experience of 14 months with IBM with an Intl, voice process. I have good communication skills, n I have a good personality, I look good..touch wood!
I have a diploma in Global Hospitality and Aviation and my result is awaited for my graduation for B.A. (prog)
Earlier I thought that MBA HR was worth it, but after listening to lot of them I got to know that HR is not a very prosperous field for guys, it is more beneficial for girls.
Does this hold any truth? Is it so?
Then I also got to know that MBA in marketing was good with good prospects, in monetary terms and professional terms too. But I have my cousin who says it is so hard that you have to roam here and there and infact he has injured his back due to restlessness. Then on the contrary I also have acquaintances who are doing marketing as Desk Jobs, so I am unable to decide what a marketing job is, is it a field job or a desk job?
Then I also have an acquaintance in MBA finance, who is no doubt earning good n is really happy...
So I am unable to decide what to choose. Please help with correct suggestions friends.
Thanks Regards Hitanshu

| | Dear Student,
Very impressive thoughts, keep your moral high same you are.
1-Global Hospitality and Aviation is field and desk job , but its related to every day new challenge it need coolness , litttle calm, and you will enjoy it my suggestion take this field,
2-HR is not only for girls HR means Human resources for boys too but its a Desk job.
3-Marketing Desk and field both related 4-MBA Finance is totally Desk job
Now if you cross chk as above join Marketing with Global Hospitality /Aviation this is best for you it involve Desk Field Travelling Public relation Finance so do your home work by yourself dont listen to others, do it yourself meet Travel agents /visit airline websites/Meet airline crew members Hotel desk staff gather more information then pendown , revise it your answer will be in your hand. | | Hi Cap.Jawaid,
Captain, I have another thought in my mind... I want to earn a lot and support my family n their needs. At once I thought to work and pursue my masters via correspondence, however, now I am wondering that if I pursue my masters through a regular college like IFCAI, I will be assisted with my placement with bigger and better brands, whereas if I pursue the same via correspondence, I will never come across the brands in the college. And to be very frank I am tired of a 15-20 thousand job, now I want to do something big and hit the spot I am aiming..
What do you suggest captain?? Regular or correspondence? I already have an experience of 20 months in total.....so MBA would be far more beneficial for me anyhow, rather than freshers. Regular or Correspondence?
