Mass Communication or Journalism is a discipline of collecting, verifying, reporting and analysing information gathered regarding current events, including trends, issues and people. It is classified into two areas — print journalism and electronic (audio/visual) media.
Print journalism includes newspapers, magazines and journals, whereas news channels and radio come under electronic media.
Aptitude: Interest in current affairs, ability to work with facts, an eye for detail, excellent writing skills, rough and confident personality.

You can take admission in Public sector universities like University of Karachi, Federal Urdu University and Virtual University of Pakistan prior to your percentage in Intermediate. In University of Karachi the competition is very tough in Mass Communication discipline. Mass Communication is basically a study about the interaction and communication with masses, in BS(Mass Communication) you will be studying English comprehension, Technical & Business English writing, introduction to Sociology, communications, adverstising fundamentals and lots of other courses...
