I am doing my job in a government organization and want to increase my educational qualification. My basic education is BA which I have done in 1997 from PU. My job requires me to work in late hours. Often 5:30 or 6'O clock I reach my home. I am also a married person having two small kids. I am very much anxious about my educational qualification to be increased because all my colleagues have higher degree than me. I am doing accounts related job. Therefore I want to do MBA (Finance). But the question is that from which university at Islamabad I can take admission at affordable cost. Which university is better for me, VUP or AIOU. Kindly help me. I will be highly grateful.

Dear Gul Zaman!
Getting interest in higher educaton is a good thing. But you mention that your colleagues have high level of educational degree. If you are going to impress people with your degree then leave this idea. Or if your are impressed with the benefits of education and an educated environment redirecting yor towards education then it is appriciated.
Living with family, doing job and then plan to have study is difficult but not impossible. Allama Iqbal Open University is correspondence study system and Virual University have Online / Internet based learning system. I think Allama Iqbal Open University is best for you. Well Mr. Gul Zaman, it is very good that you have passion for further study along with you job. Your MBA (Finance) choice is good related to your job with finance.
You may adopt both of them, about getting admission & fee.
In AIOU new admission will start in Aug & fee is about Rs. 15000/- per semester or check from website (www.aiou.edu.pk)
In the VU, for admission you may visit the website (www.vu.edu.pk) for admission timing, for fee structure there is Rs. 2000/- per month for master level.
Both universities have good credibility and recognized by HEC.
