| Hello.I want to ask that Is CAT is necessary before ACCA. Please reply me.

CAT is not necessary before ACCA.But you would have to do CAT if:-
i) You are not 21 years of age at the point you want to start ACCA ii) You have not done graduation at the point you want to start ACCA.
As you mentioned BSc. in front of your particulars, I assume you are BSc passed, so you would not have to do CAT.But i recommend you to do CAT before going for ACCA, in case you have time and can finance your CAT.Because this gives you a hell lot of knowledge and indepth insight to accountancy expertise which you would require in ACCA, so it's entirely upto you whether you feel ok to spend 15 months in CAT or start directly ACCA.You also get an exemption of first 3 ACCA exams if you pass 9 of CAT exams.So i would say CAT is effectively 6 exams.
