Question (Total Replies: 3) Friday, March 28 2008 Sabah (Student) Bachelors Degree BS in Biotechnology karachi I DONE MY INTERMEDIATE WITH 78% THEN I GOT ADDMISSION IN KARACHI UNIVERSITY PHARMACY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY I CHOCE BIOTECHNOLOGY BUT OTHER SAY THAT PHARMACY IS BETTER WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Which subject can get ur more attention that will be ur filed of interest. Just hard work and learn as much as u can, also be practicle with ur subject. Both of your choices are good, but lets differnciates in between both. 1. As biotechnology is no doubt very good field to study for future becoz it hasnt make its perspective in pakistan yet. But you can study it upto studying and teaching (in specified areas) level not at Job level. PHARMACY (PharmD) is an evergreen field, you can study more in this field, easily get job (as 99.9% of Pharmacists are working in good and reputed levels of good organizations) and you can also swith over to other fields in postgraduation as biotechnology, different branches of chemistry and MBA too. I suggest you to get admission in PharmD and complete it successfully then if you want job ,you can. otherwise continue the education with Biotechnology or whatsoever you want.
