Question (Total Replies: 3) Monday, May 18 2009 Maya (Student) Bachelors Degree B.Com karachi Respected Sir, I have done my B.Com from Sir Syed college for the academic year 2008 and I am waiting for the results. I wanted to know if I opt for an M.Com degree, what kind of job and salary will I be offered? waiting for your response. Thank you.

In my opinion MBAs get more market scope and their growth rate is much higher than M.Coms. So I would suggest you to do MBA in finance from some reputed institute with hard work. Its basically depend on you knowledge and expertise in the field of finance. If you are very good in Finance and you have very sound knowledge of its basics you can do any job related to accounts, and the average salary of an accountant is around 20 to 25 thousand Rupees nowadays. It all depends that how much yoyu score at masters level and how much knowledge you gain through your studies.We have lot of M.Coms who are just accountants in the firms and on the other hand we also have people who did M.com and now working at senior positions.So do work hard and do your masters in good GP.
