Today, electronic TV media is free and I have watched several times (on TV ) spokes mans of Taliban accepting responsibility of suicide bombings. You have several other
examples that prove the involvement of Taliban in suicide bombings. For example, few months ago extremist called Dr Hanif (spell may be incorrect) was arrested while he was doing terrorist attack some where
in Pakistan. He accepted involvement of Taliban and also told that he spent few days in Mansora which is the main head quarter of some religious political party.
We are not realistic and put every responsibility to other nations and do not consider our own mistakes.
Some of major causes of terrorism are poverty, law and order situation , etc, which are obviously product of our own society not due to others.
Blaming others is very easy thing but what have you done yourself is obvious. I have not observed any religious political party seriously condemning Taliban and bringing people on road for such terrorist attacks at large scale. These political parties have some kind of USA phobia and they can not think beyond that.
It is not only the responsibility of government to stop terrorism but it is responsibility of each individual living in Pakistan and even in this world. We need to reduce extremism within our society which has been brought through several stages by some of our own people like General Zia-uL_Haq, former president of Pakistan , religious political parties, and etc.

Well whenever I turn my TV on, there is always recorded coverage of suicide attack on particular TV Channel, which is always busy in talking black water, green water, etc instead of talking about polluted water of Pakistan. The whole family is disturbed seeing this. The another question is that who is sending them recorded attacks? Why some one should record any think on road which is full of dust and has nothing especial? It is not one time but most of times. Please read my previous blog.

I think that is a very bad approach by our policy makers that they instead of cutting a tree down to its root, they cut it from its branches. Either they are afraid of making any bold decisions or (I am leaving this space for you to fill). For example, in order to get rid of energy crises problem, it is very important that our respectable policy makers stop electric power theft but instead of doing this, they are doing those things which are less significant and do not have any significant effect until power theft is not stopped. The another example is related to war on terror or suicide bombings. In order to stop this kind of terrorism, you need to stop any news which spreads this terrorism, and terrorism could be automatically die if you do it with other measures. Our TV media is constantly spreading such news and talk shows on it without any break and spending hours of hours. I mean terrorist basic motive is to spread terrorism and that is achieved by his friends, called our electronic TV media. No one in this country has taken this issue very seriously and that is very amazing to me. We are in some kind of war and you have right to do it. Putting ban on live courage is not enough. For God sake, do it immediately, but you will not do it, just like no one did it for the theft of electric power. We are those (that also includes opposition political parties) who do not know what is their basic problem.

| اگر کوئی فرد یا گروہ دہشت گردی میں ملوث ہے تو یقیناً ان کے کچھ مقاصد ہیں۔ اگر انہیں وہ سب کچھ دے دیا جائے جو وہ چاہتے ہیں تو دہشت گردی خود بخود ختم ہوجائے گی۔ بحرحال اس بات سے بھی انکار نہیں کیا جاسکتا کہ ایسا کرنا ہر دفعہ ممکن نہیں۔ لیکن اگر ان لوگوں کی آواز کو سنا جائے اور انہیں Decision making کا حصہ بنایا جائے تو وہ تحمل اور رواداری سے کام لیں گے۔ دوسرے الفاظ میں decision making body میں ان کی موزوں شمولیت/ نمائندگی ہو تو کسی حد تک دہشت گردی پر قابو پایا جاسکتا ہے۔ |
