پر آنے والے کو مجھ سے چاہتیں نا رہی
مٹ ہی گیا نا یہ آزمائش کا سفر
نفرت کرنے والے کے دل میں کڑواہتیں نا رہی
میرے قلم نے کیسا درد لکھ دیا ہے
کہ پڑھنے والوں میں ہمتیں نا رہی
بہت کچھ کھویا ہے اپنی نادانی سے لکی
وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ وہ ہماقتیں نا رہی
باقی رہ جاتی ہیں دِل میں اور بھی باتیں کئی
غیر کے پہلوُ میں تھے وہ ، اور ہم تنہا یہاں
ہم نے دیکھیں زندگی میں ایسی بھی راتیں کئی
عشق مجنوں بھی ہے،سرمد بھی ہے اور منصوُر بھی
عشق کے ہیں رنگ لاکھوں عشق کی ذاتیں کئی
چاہتوں کے پھول ، جذبے اور پیمانِ وفا
نذر کر دوں گی انھیں میں، ایسی سوغاتیں کئی
بن لیۓ دُلہن کی ڈولی لیۓ جو پلٹ جاتی رہیں
ہم نے دیکھیں زندگی میں ایسی باراتیں کئی
پاس دُشمن کے مرے، مجھ کو ہرانے کے لیۓ
اور ترکیبیں بہت تھیں، اور تھیں گھاتیں کئی
