میں نہیں رکتا تو کہتے
بلا کر تو دیکھتے
میں نہیں سنتا تو کہتے
حق جتا کر تو دیکھتے
میں حق تلفی کرتا تو کہتے
شکوہ ہی کر کے دیکھتے
میں شکوہ بر نہیں ہوتا تو کہتے
خوف سے رنگا تھا جب یہ جہاں
تب بھی تھا یہی خیال کوئی تو اپنا روکے
اور میں نہیں رکتا تو کہتے
