Thawban (ra) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever says when he reaches the evening: “I am pleased with Allah as (my) Lord, with Islam as (my) religion, and with Muhammad (ﷺ) as (my) Prophet (Raḍītu billāhi rabban wabil-Islāmi dīnan wa bi-Muḥammadin nabiyyan) it is a duty upon Allah to please him.’” (Hasan Gharib)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمَرْزُبَانِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُمْسِي:‏‏‏‏ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

ثوبان رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص شام کے وقت کہا کرے «رضيت بالله ربا وبالإسلام دينا وبمحمد نبيا» ”میں اللہ کے رب ہونے، اسلام کے دین ہونے اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے نبی ہونے پر راضی ( و خوش ) ہوں“، تو اللہ پر یہ حق بنتا ہے کہ وہ اس بندے کو بھی اپنی طرف سے راضی و خوش کر دے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث اس سند سے حسن غریب ہے۔
