Hajj balloting for 50 percent quota of pilgrims [HamariWeb] 01 Mar, 2018

Good news for the Hajj applicants of 2018! The Ministry of Religious Affairs will conduct balloting for the 50 percent quota of total Hajj pilgrims for 2018 on 1st March 2018.

According to details, the balloting for the 50 percent quota of Hajj pilgrims for 2018 will be held at 4 pm. Minister of State for Religious Affairs Mr. Pir Amin ul Hasnat will supervise the balloting ceremony.

The final initiative to conduct the balloting was taken by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi during a meeting of the federal cabinet.

Cases regarding Hajj balloting in various courts are directed to Islamabad High Court on immediate basis by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar comprising of Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ijazul Ahsan had heard the case.

The Ballot result shall also be made available online today by the day end.
