Britain sends another warship to boost presence in the Gulf [Radio Pakistan] 25 Aug, 2019

Britain has sent another warship to the Gulf to protect freedom of navigation and boost its presence after Iran seized a British tanker in the region. According to British defense minister Ben Wallace, Type 45 destroyer HMS Defender will join the royal navy`s efforts as part of International maritime security construct.Tensions rose between Iran and Britain after Iranian commandos seized a British-flagged tanker last month following capture of Iranian oil tanker by Britain.
