EssenceMediacom – GroupM’s newest and largest agency – formally launches today with an ambition to deliver marketing breakthroughs for their clients.Disrupting the old models across media, creative, innovation and analytics, the agency has been built to find new opportunity for brands and deliver truly integrated media solutions.
Comprised of 10,000 people across 120 offices globally and led by Global CEO Nick Lawson, EssenceMediacom combines Essence’s performance, data, analytics and creative technology DNA with MediaCom’s scaled multichannel audience planning and strategic media expertise.
Essence & Mediacom each represented excellence in its own field: Mediacom – a traditional media agency with global scale – and Essence – a specialist, digital and tech agency. Locally,Mediacom has been at play since the last five years and is Pakistan’s fastest growing agency with a pitch-win ratio of over 75% anda billing growth of more than 100%in the last yearwith addition of six new clients including Coca Cola, Ismail Industries, Bayer, Xiaomi and more.Headed by Raza Syed as Managing Director, Mediacom Pakistan has a headcount of 35+ people, with itssenior leadership comprising of industry veterans who hold over 15 years of diverse experience across the top businesses of Pakistan.
