    Prince of Bahawalpur Bahawal Khan Abbasi announced the separation from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. He said that he strongly condemns the events of May 9 and part ways with PTI. He said that he will take the decision of future politics through consultation.

    Prince Bahawal Khan Abbasi said that at the time of the establishment of Pakistan in 1947, my great-grandfather Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi, on the instructions of the Quaid-i-Azam, opened the treasury of the state for the security and welfare of Pakistan and integrated his army into the army of Pakistan to protect it. .

    It should be noted that Prince Bahawal Abbas participated in the 2018 general elections and contested as an independent candidate from National Assembly Constituency NA-174 from Bahalpur.

    PTI's Makhdoom Syed Samiul Hasan Gilani won from this constituency with 63 thousand votes, while Prince Bahawal Abbas was second with 58 thousand votes.
