Timatar Pulao recipe by Zubaida Tariq. This delightful Main Course recipe of Timatar Pulao can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish. Hide

INGREDIENTS

Basmati rice300 gm
Tomato juice3 cup
Onion chopped1
Cloves4
Cardamom4
Cumin seeds1 tsp
Chili powder¾ tsp
Ghee3 tbsp
Onion (for garnish)2
Saltto taste

METHOD

Wash 300 gm rice and soak in fresh water for 20 minutes.
Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a pan, add in 1 tsp cumin seeds, 4 green cardamom and 4 cloves.
Now add 1 chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Then add in soaked rice. Cook for 3 minutes.
Add 3 cup tomato juice, ¾ tsp chili powder and salt to taste. Mix well. Cook till boiling. Lower the flame and simmer till done.
Peel onion and fry skin in oil. Garnish rice with fried onion skin and serve hot.
