Ingredients
  1. For the steak:
  2. 1/2 lb thin cut beef round sandwich steaks
  3. 1/2 large onion, sliced into rings
  4. 1/2 tsp olive oil
  5. 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  6. 4 seconds cooking spray
  7. garlic powder to taste
  8. salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
  9. For the sandwich:
  10. 12 oz French bread or baguette, cut into 4 pieces
  11. 4 slices reduced-fat cheese slices
Method
  • Start by preparing the steak, click Quick Skillet Steak with Mushrooms and Onions for the recipe.
  • Preheat oven to 425° or set your broiler to low.
