Ingredients
  1. ½ kg potatoes
  2. 250 grams tomatoes
  3. 6 green chilies
  4. ½ bunch coriander
  5. ½ cup oil
  6. ½ cup tamarind paste
  7. 1 tsp crushed red chili powder
  8. 1 tsp chaat masala
  9. 1 tbsp garlic
  10. ½ tsp salt
  11. ½ tsp turmeric
Method
  • Cut potato slices lengthwise. Soak in water with ½ tsp salt.
  • Place on a sieve, and allow excess water to drain away.
  • Fry potato slices and keep aside. In the same oil, sauté 250 grams tomatoes, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp red chili flakes, ½ tsp turmeric powder and 1 tbsp garlic and sauté.
  • Then add potatoes, ½ cup tamarind juice nd 6 green chilies and allow simmering.
  • Sprinkle ½ bunch coriander and 1 tsp chaat masala and serve.
