Ingredients
  1. Rice 300 gm
  2. Mince 300 gm
  3. Boiled peas 200 gm
  4. Whole black lentils 100 gm
  5. Onion 1
  6. Potatoes boiled 2
  7. Star anise 4
  8. Green chilies 4
  9. Dry red chilies 6 – 8
  10. Ghee ½ cup
  11. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  12. Water as required
  13. Salt to taste
Method
  • • Heat ½ cup ghee in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and fry till soft, now add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and fry well till golden brown.
  • • Add 300 gm beef mince, 4 whole green chilies, 6 – 8 whole red chilies, 4 star anise and salt to taste.
  • • Now add 2 boiled potatoes cut into cubes, 200 gm boiled peas and 100 gm boiled black lentils.
  • • Fry for 2 – 3 minutes.
  • • Add 1 ½ glass of water and cook till it comes to a boil.
  • • Now add 300 gm soaked rice and cook till water dries.
  • • Simmer for 8 – 10 minutes till done. Dish it out and serve.
