Ingredients
  1. 1) 1/2kg mutton / Chicken
  2. 2) 2 tspn saboot kalimirch
  3. 3) 2 tspn whole zeera
  4. 4) 3 medium onion(chopped)
  5. 5) 4 medium tomatoes(chopped)
  6. 6) 8-10 pods of garlic
  7. 7) small lemon sized ginger
  8. 8) fenugreek leaves(methi ki bhaji)1 small bunch(chopped)
  9. 9) 150 gms peas
  10. 10) 1 1/2 tspn chilli pwdr
  11. 11) salt to taste
  12. 12) 1/2 cup oil
  13. 13) 150 gms peas
Method
  • 1. First grind black pepper, zeera, ginger and garlic and keep aside
  • 2. Then take a pan add oil and fry chopped onion and fry until golden brown
  • 3. Add (mutton or Chicken) and fry for 3 min
  • 4. Add grounded garam masala, chopped tomatoes, Red chilli pwdr, salt and fry for 5 mins
  • 5. Add the fenugreek leaves and peas and fry until mutton is cooked
  • 6. Leave it for dumm (cover the pot to hold steam) until oil is separated (this helps spread the flavor evenly across the curry).
  • 7. Ready to serve!
