Ingredients
  1. Potato ½ kg
  2. Tomatoes 1-2 thinly chopped
  3. Onion 1
  4. Ginger/ garlic paste 1 tbsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  7. Fennel 1 tsp
  8. Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp
  9. Rye ½ tsp
  10. Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  11. Green chilli paste as required
  12. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  13. Ghee/ oil ½ cup
  14. Salt as required
Method
  • Heat oil then frying fenugreek, rye and fennel till them crackle. Now add potatoes and fry for while. then add ginger/ garlic paste. Salt, red chilli, powder, green chilli paste, turmeric and tomatoes and fry. When water from tomatoes dry off, add onion and cook till potatoes are tender. Sprinkle sesame on top and cover with lid and cook on low heat fro 5 minutes in the add lemon juice and mix well.
