Mississippi Mud Pie recipe by Shireen Anwar. This delightful Latest recipe of Mississippi Mud Pie can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish.


Flour 1 ½ cup
Salt ¼ tsp
Butter 4 ounces
Sugar 4 tbsp
Egg yolk 1
Chilled water to knead
Ingredients for fillingButter 4 ounces
Sugar 8 ounces
Coco powder 4 tbsp
Flour 4 tbsp
Eggs 3 large beaten
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Vanilla ice-cream 1 liter
Chocolate sauce 4 tbsp


In a bowl combine the flour, salt, sugar add in butter, with finger tips until mixture resembles bread crumbs, add egg yolks mix, add chilled water and knead lightly until combined, sprinkle flour on table and form mixture into a dough, chill for 30 minute, preheat oven to 180 degree C on a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a round, about 1/8 inch thick, transfer the pie into large pan, gently fit into the pan, prick the bottom and sides of the pan with fork, bake for 15 minutes.
Method for filling
In a bowl mix together butter, sugar, coco until well combined, add the flour, eggs, vanilla, beat until smooth, pour the filling into the baked crust, bake for 30 to 35 minutes on 180 degree C, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Gently spread with ice cream over the pie, freeze until ice-cream set, and drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
