Ingredients
  1. Chana daal 200 gm boiled
    Lockey 200 gm cut in 2 inch cubes
    Whole big green chilies 4
    Allspice ½ tsp
    Tomatoes 2 finely chopped
    Roasted cumin crushed 1 tsp
    Ginger garlic 1 tsp
    Onion 1 sliced
    Turmeric ½ tsp
    Salt 1 tsp heaped
    Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
    Oil ½ cup
    Curry leaves 15
    Mustard seeds 1 tsp
    Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Method
  • Heat oil add curry leaves, mustard seeds, sliced onion, fry till golden brown, add ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, turmeric and chopped tomatoes, fry well, add chopped lockey with ½ cup water, cover and cook till done, add boiled daal, green chilies, cumin crushed, allspice, coriander leaves, leave it on dum for 10 minutes.
