Ingredients
  1. Rice ½ kg
    Beef boneless 250 gm
    Chicken                boneless 250 gm
    Prawns 250 gm
    Potatoes 2
    Carrots 2
    Tomatoes 3
    Onions  2
    Lemons                2
    Mint leaves ½ bunch
    Dry plum 1 cup
    Peas ½ cup
    Yogurt   1 ½ cup
    All spice powder  1 tsp
    White cumin seeds 1 tsp
    Ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp
    Red chili flakes  1 ½ tbsp
    Oil 5-6 tbsp
    All spices as required
    Salt to taste
Method
  • For rice:
    Take water in a pan and add in some salt and ½ tsp black cumin seeds. After some time add in rice and boil it. Drain the water. To prepare qorma, take some oil in the pan and add in all spices. Then add in onion and fry it till it is golden brown. Take out the half fried onion and keep it aside. Then add in 250 gm beef, 250gm chicken and 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Cook it till the meat tenders. Add in 1 cup yogurt, 5-6 green chilies, 250 gm prawns, 2 potatoes, ½ cup peas, 2 carrots, 1 ½ tbsp red chili flakes, 1 tsp all spice powder and 1 tsp cumin seeds. Mix everything and cook till vegetables are cooked. When the gravy dries add in tomatoes and mix everything.
    For layers:
    Put some oil and yogurt at the bottom of the pan. Add in ½ cup yogurt and half rice. Put the qorma and add in lemon slices, ½ bunch green coriander, mint leaves and 3 green chilies and remaining rice. Simmer. Dish it out and serve.
