Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup butter
  2. 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 2 eggs, beaten
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  6. 3/4 cup flour
  7. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  8. Chantilly Cream:
  9. 1 cup whipping cream
  10. 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  11. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  12. 1 cup sour cream
  13. grated chocolate bar or chocolate cookies crumbled
Method
  • 1.Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • 2.Melt butter and chocolate in a medium sized saucepan over low
  • heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 3.Stir in sugar. Cool to room temperature.
  • 4.Stir in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts until well
  • blended.
  • 5.Pour batter into a buttered 10 inch pie pan.
  • 6.Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in
  • the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • 7.One to two hours before serving, make Chantilly cream.
  • 8.Whip cream in a small chilled bowl with chilled beater until
  • soft peaks form.
  • 9.Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Continue beating until stiff.
  • Gently fold in sour cream.
  • 10 Spread over brownie layer. Decorate with grated bar or
  • chocolate cookie crumbs. Keep refrigerated.
