Ingredients
  1. Sponge cake of 2 eggs
    Milk1 ½ cup
    Custard powder2 tbsp
    Sugar ½ cup
    Gelatin1 tbsp heaped
    Fresh cream8 ounces whipped
    Coco powder1 tbsp
    Vanilla essence1 tsp
    Any fruit syrup ½ cup
    Walnuts chopped ½ cup
    Grated chocolate ½ cup
    Whipped cream for decoration
Method
  • Cut the cake into thin slices, arrange in a dish, soak it with fruit syrup, mix custard powder in ¼ cup milk, put the remaining milk in sauce pan to boil with sugar, when it starts boiling add the custard powder, cook stirring till thick, dissolve gelatin in ¼ cup water add coco in it and cook till dissolve, remove and add to the custard, mix well, fold in whipped cream and essence, pour over the cake, chill till set, decorate with cream, walnuts and grated chocolate.
