Two Pakistani Female mountaineers behold on becoming the first women to summit K2

Two female mountaineers, Samina Baig and Naila Kiani have set goals of achieving the world�s second-highest mountain K2. K2 is among the most difficult mountains to summit. There are around less than 10 women who have successfully peaked the mountain. The two Pakistani women climbers are all set their reach the top of K2.

Samina, 2013 achieved the first Pakistani woman to climb Everest. She has already reached the K2 basecamp and will move to another camp. In the past here two events one in 2015 and one in 2021, failed due to the weather conditions.�

Naila has also arrived in Pakistan and will move to Skardu before starting her journey. Kiani has become the first Pakistani woman to climb 8,035m Gasherbrum II. She was the first-ever Pakistani woman to climb an 8,000 inside Pakistan.
