Surah Muminun Ayat 24 in Arabic
فَقَالَ الۡمَلَؤُا الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ قَوۡمِهٖ مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثۡلُكُمۡۙ يُرِيۡدُ اَنۡ يَّـتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡؕ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَاَنۡزَلَ مَلٰٓٮِٕكَةً ۖۚ مَّا سَمِعۡنَا بِهٰذَا فِىۡۤ اٰبَآٮِٕنَا الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۚ ﴿۲۴﴾
Surah Muminun Ayat 24 with Urdu Translation
تو اس کی قوم کے جن سرداروں نے کفر کیا بولے (ف۳۰) یہ تو نہیں مگر تم جیسا آدمی چاہتا ہے کہ تمہارا بڑا بنے (ف۳۱) اور اللہ چاہتا (ف۳۲) تو فرشتے اتارتا ہم نے تو یہ اگلے باپ داداؤں میں نہ سنا (ف۳۳) ﴿۲۴﴾

تو ان کی قوم کے سردار جو کافر تھے کہنے لگے کہ یہ تو تم ہی جیسا آدمی ہے۔ تم پر بڑائی حاصل کرنی چاہتا ہے۔ اور اگر خدا چاہتا تو فرشتے اُتار دیتا۔ ہم نے اپنے اگلے باپ دادا میں تو یہ بات کبھی سنی نہیں تھی ﴿۲۴﴾

Surah Muminun Ayat 24 with English Translation
But the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved, said: This is only a mortal like you who would make himself superior to you. Had Allah willed, He surely could have sent down angels. We heard not of this in the case of our fathers of old. ﴾24﴿
