Surah Mujadila Ayat 2 in Arabic
اَلَّذِيۡنَ يُظٰهِرُوۡنَ مِنۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ نِّسَآٮِٕهِمۡ مَّا هُنَّ اُمَّهٰتِهِمۡؕ اِنۡ اُمَّهٰتُهُمۡ اِلَّا الّٰٓـىِٔۡ وَلَدۡنَهُمۡؕ وَاِنَّهُمۡ لَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مُنۡكَرًا مِّنَ الۡقَوۡلِ وَزُوۡرًاؕ وَ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُوۡرٌ ﴿۲﴾
Surah Mujadila Ayat 2 with Urdu Translation
وہ جو تم میں اپنی بیبیوں کو اپنی ماں کی جگہ کہہ بیٹھتے ہیں (ف۳) وہ ان کی مائیں نہیں (ف۴) ان کی مائیں تو وہی ہیں جن سے وہ پیدا ہیں (ف۵) اور وہ بیشک بری اور نری جھوٹ بات کہتے ہیں (ف۶) اور بیشک اللہ ضرور معاف کرنے والا اور بخشنے والا ہے، ﴿۲﴾

جو لوگ تم میں سے اپنی عورتوں کو ماں کہہ دیتے ہیں وہ ان کی مائیں نہیں (ہوجاتیں)۔ ان کی مائیں تو وہی ہیں جن کے بطن سے وہ پیدا ہوئے۔ بےشک وہ نامعقول اور جھوٹی بات کہتے ہیں اور خدا بڑا معاف کرنے والا (اور) بخشنے والا ہے ﴿۲﴾

Surah Mujadila Ayat 2 with English Translation
Such of you as put away your wives (by saying they are as their mothers) - They are not their mothers; none are their mothers except those who gave them birth - they indeed utter an ill word and a lie. And lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. ﴾2﴿
