Surah Maidah Ayat 31 in Arabic
فَبَـعَثَ اللّٰهُ غُرَابًا يَّبۡحَثُ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ لِيُرِيَهٗ كَيۡفَ يُوَارِىۡ سَوۡءَةَ اَخِيۡهِؕ قَالَ يَاوَيۡلَتٰٓى اَعَجَزۡتُ اَنۡ اَكُوۡنَ مِثۡلَ هٰذَا الۡغُرَابِ فَاُوَارِىَ سَوۡءَةَ اَخِىۡۚ فَاَصۡبَحَ مِنَ النّٰدِمِيۡنَۛ ۚۙ ﴿۳۱﴾
Surah Maidah Ayat 31 with Urdu Translation
تو اللہ نے ایک کوا بھیجا زمین کریدتا کہ اسے دکھائے کیونکر اپنے بھائی کی لاش چھپائے (ف۸۶) بولا ہائے خرابی میں اس کوے جیسا بھی نہ ہوسکا کہ میں اپنے بھائی کی لاش چھپاتا تو پچتاتا رہ گیا(ف۸۷) ﴿۳۱﴾

اب خدا نے ایک کوّا بھیجا جو زمین کریدنے لگا تاکہ اسے دکھائے کہ اپنے بھائی کی لاش کو کیونکر چھپائے کہنے لگا اے ہے مجھ سے اتنا بھی نہ ہو سکا کہ اس کوے کے برابر ہوتا کہ اپنے بھائی کی لاش چھپا دیتا پھر وہ پشیمان ہوا ﴿۳۱﴾

Surah Maidah Ayat 31 with English Translation
Then Allah sent a raven scratching up the ground, to show him how to hide his brother's naked corpse. He said: Woe unto me! Am I not able to be as this raven and so hide my brother's naked corpse? And he became repentant. ﴾31﴿
