اَفَلَمۡ يَسِيۡرُوۡا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ فَيَنۡظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡؕ كَانُوۡۤا اَكۡثَرَ مِنۡهُمۡ وَاَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَّ اٰثَارًا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ فَمَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَكۡسِبُوۡنَ ﴿۸۲﴾
Surah Ghafir Ayat 82 with Urdu Translation
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سفر نہ کیا کہ دیکھتے ان سے اگلوں کا کیسا انجام ہوا، وہ ان سے بہت تھے (ف۱۷۴) اور ان کی قوت (ف۱۷۵) اور زمین میں نشانیاں ان سے زیادہ (ف۱۷۶) تو ان کے کیا کام آیا جو انہوں نے کمایا، (ف۱۷۷) ﴿۸۲﴾

کیا ان لوگوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی تاکہ دیکھتے جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے ان کا انجام کیسا ہوا۔ (حالانکہ) وہ ان سے کہیں زیادہ طاقتور اور زمین میں نشانات (بنانے) کے اعتبار سے بہت بڑھ کر تھے۔ تو جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے وہ ان کے کچھ کام نہ آیا ﴿۸۲﴾

Surah Ghafir Ayat 82 with English Translation
Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those before them? They were more numerous than these, and mightier in power and (in the) traces (which they left behind them) in the earth. But all that they used to earn availed them not. ﴾82﴿
