Surah Fussilat Ayat 17 in Arabic
وَاَمَّا ثَمُوۡدُ فَهَدَيۡنٰهُمۡ فَاسۡتَحَبُّوۡا الۡعَمٰى عَلَى الۡهُدٰى فَاَخَذَتۡهُمۡ صٰعِقَةُ الۡعَذَابِ الۡهُوۡنِ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَكۡسِبُوۡنَۚ ﴿۱۷﴾
Surah Fussilat Ayat 17 with Urdu Translation
اور رہے ثمود انہیں ہم نے راہ دکھائی (ف۳۹) تو انہوں نے سوجھنے پر اندھے ہونے کو پسند کیا (ف۴۰) تو انہیں ذلت کے عذاب کی کڑ ک نے آ لیا (ف۴۱) سزا ان کے کیے کی (ف۴۲) ﴿۱۷﴾

اور جو ثمود تھے ان کو ہم نے سیدھا رستہ دکھا دیا تھا مگر انہوں نے ہدایت کے مقابلے میں اندھا دھند رہنا پسند کیا تو ان کے اعمال کی سزا میں کڑک نے ان کو آپکڑا۔ اور وہ ذلت کا عذاب تھا ﴿۱۷﴾

Surah Fussilat Ayat 17 with English Translation
And as for Thamud, We gave them guidance, but they preferred blindness to the guidance, so the bolt of the doom of humiliation overtook them because of what they used to earn. ﴾17﴿
