وَلَقَدۡ اَتَوۡا عَلَى الۡقَرۡيَةِ الَّتِىۡۤ اُمۡطِرَتۡ مَطَرَ السَّوۡءِؕ اَفَلَمۡ يَكُوۡنُوۡا يَرَوۡنَهَاۚ بَلۡ كَانُوۡا لَا يَرۡجُوۡنَ نُشُوۡرًا ﴿۴۰﴾
Surah Furqan Ayat 40 with Urdu Translation
اور ضرور یہ (ف۷۱) ہو آئے ہیں اس بستی پر جس پر برا برساؤ برسا تھا (ف۷۲) تو کیا یہ اسے دیکھتے نہ تھے (ف۷۳) بلکہ انہیں جی اٹھنے کی امید تھی ہی نہیں (ف۷۴) ﴿۴۰﴾

اور یہ کافر اس بستی پر بھی گزر چکے ہیں جس پر بری طرح کا مینہ برسایا گیا تھا۔ کیا وہ اس کو دیکھتے نہ ہوں گے۔ بلکہ ان کو (مرنے کے بعد) جی اُٹھنے کی امید ہی نہیں تھی۔ ﴿۴۰﴾

Surah Furqan Ayat 40 with English Translation
And indeed they have passed by the township whereon was rained the fatal rain. Can it be that they have not seen it? Nay, but they hope for no resurrection. ﴾40﴿
