Surah Araf Ayat 142 in Arabic
وَوٰعَدۡنَا مُوۡسٰى ثَلٰثِيۡنَ لَيۡلَةً وَّاَتۡمَمۡنٰهَا بِعَشۡرٍ فَتَمَّ مِيۡقَاتُ رَبِّهٖۤ اَرۡبَعِيۡنَ لَيۡلَةً ۚ وَقَالَ مُوۡسٰى لِاَخِيۡهِ هٰرُوۡنَ اخۡلُفۡنِىۡ فِىۡ قَوۡمِىۡ وَاَصۡلِحۡ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ سَبِيۡلَ الۡمُفۡسِدِيۡنَ ﴿۱۴۲﴾
Surah Araf Ayat 142 with Urdu Translation
اور ہم نے موسیٰ سے (ف۲۵۹) تیس رات کا وعدہ فرمایا اور ان میں (ف۲۶۰) دس اور بڑھا کر پوری کیں تو اس کے رب کا وعدہ پوری چالیس رات کا ہوا (ف۲۶۱) اور موسیٰ نے (ف۲۶۲) اپنے بھائی ہارون سے کہا میری قوم پر میرے نائب رہنا اور اصلاح کرنا اور فسادیوں کی راہ کو دخل نہ دینا، ﴿۱۴۲﴾

اور ہم نے موسیٰ سے تیس رات کی میعاد مقرر کی۔ اور اس دس (راتیں) اور ملا کر اسے پورا (چلّہ) کردیا تو اس کے پروردگار کی چالیس رات کی میعاد پوری ہوگئی۔ اور موسیٰ نے اپنے بھائی ہارون سے کہا کہ میرے (کوہِٰ طور پر جانے کے) بعد تم میری قوم میں میرے جانشین ہو (ان کی) اصلاح کرتے رہنا ٹھیک اور شریروں کے رستے نہ چلنا ﴿۱۴۲﴾

Surah Araf Ayat 142 with English Translation
And when We did appoint for Moses thirty nights (of solitude), and added to them ten, and he completed the whole time appointed by his Lord of forty nights; and Moses said unto his brother, Aaron: Take my place among the people. Do right, and follow not the way of mischief-makers. ﴾142﴿
