Surah Anfal Ayat 31 in Arabic
وَاِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتُنَا قَالُوۡا قَدۡ سَمِعۡنَا لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَقُلۡنَا مِثۡلَ هٰذَٓاۙ اِنۡ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَسَاطِيۡرُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾
Surah Anfal Ayat 31 with Urdu Translation
اور جب ان پر ہماری آیتیں پڑھی جائیں تو کہتے ہیں ہاں ہم نے سنا ہم چاہتے تو ایسی ہم بھی کہہ دیتے یہ تو نہیں مگر اگلوں کے قصے (ف۵۲) ﴿۳۱﴾

اور جب ان کو ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی ہیں تو کہتے ہیں (یہ کلام) ہم نے سن لیا ہے اگر ہم چاہیں تو اسی طرح کا (کلام) ہم بھی کہہ دیں اور یہ ہے ہی کیا صرف اگلے لوگوں کی حکایتیں ہیں ﴿۳۱﴾

And when Our revelations are recited unto them they say: We have heard. If we wish we can speak the like of this. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. ﴾31﴿
